About the role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious operator to join us in scaling up our Field Marketing efforts. You will represent We Are The New Farmers at experiential activations ranging from sampling popups to special events to share the power of microalgae and build a community around our brand.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or hospitality, especially with regards to organizing and executing events is preferred but not required
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time (mostly within NYC), and work nights or weekends when need be for special events and activations
- An exceptional people person with the energy, enthusiasm, and communication skills to pitch hundreds of consumers on the value props of WATNF on a daily basis—and inspire brand ambassadors to do the same
- Outstanding organizational skills for planning, managing, and tracking the success of events and activations
- An efficient operator who can multitask and handle high pressure, fast-moving situations
- Love for all things food, fitness, wellness and earth!
What you'll do
- Pitch, test, and scale ideas for sampling products to as many consumers as possible, with an eye for driving cost-effective conversions and moving quickly on initiatives
- Organize and manage Field Marketing activations across NYC and beyond, including maintaining inventory and equipment required for samplings and demos
- Hire, train, and manage a team of part-time Brand Ambassadors including overseeing scheduling and performance management
- Track the success of activations through key performance indicators, and consistently revise your approach through data-driven insights
In addition, climate justice fellows will be part of a cohort that receives climate leadership workshops through Columbia University.

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious B2B sales & development manager. You will actively seek out sales opportunities in the food service industry (incl. juice and smoothie shops), manage customer relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will enable our B2B customers to share the power of microalgae with their customers.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of CPG/F&B sales management experience preferred but not required
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication
- An "I can do it all" mentality and a hunger for growth
- Excitement to be the first to respond to challenges and opportunities as they arise
- A motivated and positive attitude with an eagerness for over-communication
- Love for all things food, fitness, wellness and earth!
What you'll do
- Pitch our product offering to prospective new businesses in the Northeast region, deliver product samples, and assist in recipe creation
- Build and nurture meaningful relationships with new and existing clients virtually and in real life
- Manage relationships with existing customers and key accounts to achieve sales and growth targets and maintain in-store stock levels
- Collaborate with Marketing on merchandising, field marketing, and brand positioning
- Prepare sell sheets, sales decks, and other materials to support pitch efforts
- Diligently maintain our CRM and track all sales activities
